So, what we do in this program? As I said before, we mainly focus on managing waste from Gunung Mas in order to save Ciliwung. Di proposal, kita mengajukan pengangkutan sampah (sesuai kayak program Advokasi). Namun saat survey lanjutan, ternyata disana udah ada cikal bakal Bank Sampah yang digerakkin sama IPB namun tidak berkelanjutan. Melihat potensi Bank Sampah ini, kami akhirnya switch dari pengangkutan ke pengadaan Bank Sampah. Why? Simply karena pengangkutan sampah di wilayah pegunungan sulit, medan terjal dan berbatu. Lagipula, tanpa ada usaha untuk mengurangi volume sampah, pengangkutan sampah sesungguhnya hanya “memindahkan masalah” dari penumpukan sampah di warga ke TPS. Sedangkan, dengan Bank Sampah, warga bisa mendapatkan keuntungan ekonomis sekaligus menjadi termotivasi dan terbiasa untuk memilah sampah. Setelah gw tau kalau PKM M tugsel berhasil lolos didanai Dikti, gw langsung merencanakan apa yang perlu dilakukan selanjutnya. Here I act as project leader, so I have responsibility to plan it well. And that was the first time I got my PKM lolos didanai dikti. I’ve submitted some PKM back then, but none of them granted. And knowing that there’s only three team in FKM who granted by Dikti, I feel a bit…. proud, I guess?   But holding a PKM project is not an easy job. Or you can read this as: “OMAIGAD THAT’S QUITE LOT OF SHITTY STUFF WITH PKM, I MUST SAY!” How could I describe it? Hai! Tonight I suppose to write about K2N (Yap, I listed some remarkable event in campus and place them in order hahaa yeah I guess I’ve been taken this #CampusHighlight quite seriously lol) but I feel a sudden urge to write this first, about PKM M which I run this semester. So, PKM M (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa bidang Pengabdian Masyarakat) is social project competition held by Dikti (or Ristekdikti). Kayaknya semua mahasiswa familiar deh sama PKM ini. Quite mirip HAA yang gw post sebelumnya, di PKM kita ngesubmit proposal kegiatan sosial yang ingin kita lakukan. Then, if it interesting enough, Dikti will give us money to implement our program. At the end, Dikti will monitor and evaluate our program.
